Epichem Presents at ASTHM Meeting

Epichem's Head of Drug Discovery, Dr Martine Keenan, will present a seminar at the 58th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene in Washington on the 21st of November. The seminar, entitled "Novel Compounds For The Treatment Of Chagas Disease", will detail recent exciting results from DNDi's Chagas Consortium. The Consortium, which has been operating for just over 1 year, consists of Epichem (synthetic and medicinal chemistry), Murdoch University (parasitology) and Monash University (pharmacology). Some potent new lead compounds against T. cruzi (the causative agent of Chagas Disease) will be discussed.
